(ABC 6 News) – The Hormel Institute hopes to raise $20 million in Minnesota’s bond bill this year.

The money would go towards building a new bio-imaging wing at the Institute, giving researchers a panoramic view of the human body.

On Tuesday, the Joint Capital Investment Committee discussed how much should be put into the bail bill. However, the two sides have yet to determine what will be included in the final resolution.

“One of the concerns I have here at this hearing today is that, to my knowledge, we have not yet received a commonly agreed upon target from the four caucus leaders on what we could potentially do,” said Senator Jordan Rasmuson. (R-Fergus Falls).

Olmsted County has also requested $3.5 million for food and waste separation.

The cities of Blooming Prairie and Albert Lea also have applications for water infrastructure projects.
