Mariann R. Fay, 88, of Victor, IA passed away on May 3, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.

A private family graveside service will take place at Victor Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, sent to c/o Smith Funeral Home, 808 4th St., Victor, IA 52347.

Mariann was born on February 23, 1936 in Keystone, IA, the son of Peter and Hilda (Seeck) Junge. She was one of eight children who grew up on the family farm near Keystone. Mariann graduated from Keystone High School in 1955.

On June 25, 1976, Mariann was united in marriage to Ardillo Fay at the United Congregational Church in Belle Plaine, IA.

Mariann will be remembered for her artistic skills as she enjoyed painting and attending craft shows. She enjoyed time spent with family, gardening, flowers and collecting Santas. Ardillo and Mariann loved to travel and took annual motorcycle trips across the country, including their trip to New York City.

Mariann is survived by her husband Ardillo; her children, Randy (Karen) Mouchka of Belle Plaine, Cathy (Ron) Johnson of Wisconsin, Pamela (Gary) Williams of Wisconsin, and Danny (Marilyn) Mouchka of Victor; her stepchildren Jeannine Scandridge of Victor, Steven (Greta) Fay of Colorado and Jana (Scott) Barker of Colorado; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Shirley Peters of Keystone, and Janice Sievers of Keystone.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ricky Mouchka; her grandchildren, Bryant Westfall and Hailey Thompson; her stepson, Jim Scandridge; and her siblings, Lola, Marlys, Corley, Betty and Helen.
