Badgers 2025 RB target commits to Michigan State

Another domino has fallen in the 2025 recruiting class for the Wisconsin Badgers, as running back target Jace Clarizio is headed to Michigan State, he announced Tuesday.

Clarizio, a three-star running back from East Lansing, Michigan, was one of the top running back targets for the Badgers in the class of 2025 and was scheduled to take an official visit to Madison in a few weeks.

At 5’11 and 185 pounds, Clarizio had made multiple visits to Madison, but ultimately sticks with his hometown team and resides in Michigan to play for the Spartans.

The Badgers currently have three other official visits scheduled: Georgia with Javin Gordon (weekend of June 7), Nevada with Cale Breslin (weekend of June 14) and New Jersey with John Forster (weekend of June 14).

It feels like Wisconsin is ready to get one back in their 2025 class after landing three talented players in their 2024 recruiting class with four-stars Dilin Jones and Darrion Dupree and three-stars Gideon Ituka.

For now, Clarizio may not be on the list, as he is committed to Michigan State and plays somewhat of a key role in Wisconsin’s plans.
