The New York Knicks are on the verge of advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2000 after taking a commanding 3-2 lead in their Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the Indiana Pacers.

The Knicks earned a significant 121-91 victory in the pivotal Game 5 of the series on Tuesday, May 14 at Madison Square Garden, with star guard Jalen Brunson playing a major role in the win.

Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau discussed the best part of the 27-year-old, apart from his abilities on the pitch.

“As much as you talk a lot about him, and rightly so, it’s not enough about what he means to the team. He’s so willing to share everything with his teammates. For me, that’s the best part of him,” said the 66 -year-old -old told the media during the post-match press conference.

Brunson dropped in 44 points on 18 of 35 shooting, adding four rebounds and seven assists another huge post-season achievement from the former Villanova Wildcat.

The 6-foot-1 point guard has dealt with a number of foot injuries during this playoff run, but that hasn’t stopped him from showing.
